About The Event
The Center for Neurotechnology (CNT) Hackathon brings students together to develop novel technologies that pursue neural engineering solutions to health challenges conditions such as spinal cord injury and stroke, as well as public awareness and education on such topics.
Undergraduate and graduate students from CNT affiliated institutions are eligible to participate. Airfare, lodging, and meals will be provided (free) for accepted applicants.
When and Where?
The annual CNT hackathon is typically held in the early Spring each year, at the new Bill & Melinda Gates Center for Computer Science and Engineering (3800 E Stevens Way NE; Seattle, WA 98195).
Teams of three students each are formed. Teams have 36 hours to work together and utilize the equipment (hardware and software) provided to invent & pitch novel tech. On the final day, teams will present their project prototypes to a panel of scientists and industry judges.
