About The Event

The Center for Neurotechnology (CNT) Hackathon brings students together to develop novel technologies addressing sensorimotor neural engineering problems. This includes, but is not limited to, conditions such as spinal cord injury and stroke, as well as public awareness and education on such topics.

Undergraduate and graduate students from CNT affiliated institutions are eligible to participate. Airfare, lodging, and meals will be provided (free) for accepted applicants.

When and Where?

The fifth annual CNT hackathon will take place Friday February 22th - Monday February 25th, 2019 at the CNT Headquarters (1414 NE 42nd St, Suite 204, Seattle, WA).

Event Structure

Five teams of three students each are formed. Teams have 36 hours to work together and utilize the equipment (hardware and software) provided to create novel technology. On the final day, teams will present their project prototypes to a panel of judges and the broader CNT community where their work will be evaulated.
